Eligibility: Please refer to Membership Classes and Fees if you are unclear about which membership class you should apply for, or alternatively you can complete the AHANA Membership Decision Maker tool to help determine which of the classes would be best suited for you.

Application Fee: An application fee is charged on some membership applications to cover some of the costs of processing. It will not be refunded if your application is not successful.

AHANA membership is for a 12-month period from the date you join. Prices for the period from 1 May 2025 to 30 June 2026 are outlined below.

Payment Options and Surcharge: Payment options include:

• Paying by card through the third party gateway operated by Stripe Payments (built into the application form).
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). We encourage Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as there are no fees for you or for AHANA. Opt to pay in full (top of form) and then select "pay on Invoice" at the end of the form if you would like to do this. You invoice will provide you with details for paying via EFT or by card. 
• Practising Members only: While your application fee must be paid upfront (by card or EFT), you have the option to pay your membership fee using a payment plan through Ezidebit. You can choose between paying your membership fee off in equal instalments taken: monthly; every two months; quarterly; or every six months. Payment plan options are at the top of the application form. 

International applicants should check with their credit card issuer regarding international transaction fees/charges.

Emails: Our Membership Team will review your application in preparation for its assessment against the AHANA’s Constitution and Membership By-Law 2022-01 (each is accessible from the Policy Library). We will let you know if we require any further information to progress your application. We endeavour to progress applications as soon as possible but allow up to 60 days to complete this process as stated in the Membership By-Law.
