The AHANA Board approved the first AHANA Code of Conduct on 17 April 2023.
Applicants for membership of the following classes of membership are required to certify, as part of the membership application process, that they agree to comply with the Code of Conduct:
Members of these classes of membership may be subject to disciplinary proceedings in connection with their membership (such as suspension or termination of their membership, or AHANA declining to renew their membership) for failing to comply with the Code.
AHANA has implemented this version of the Code for its first membership year (to 30 June 2024) and will invite feedback from members, stakeholders and the public at a date yet to be announced. The opportunity to consult on these documents will be advertised through the AHANA newsletter.
