The Boosting the Local Care Workforce" (or BLCW) program invited Cathy Love, from Nacre Consulting, to lead an online discussion about the practicalities of integrating Allied Health Assistants into business in a safe and effective way that maximises the value of that introduction and manages potential risks.
A wide ranging discussion which includes: the art of delegating well; establishing clear boundaries for safety, accountability and legal reasons; risk management; clinical governance; and asks Allied Health Professionals and program managers to consider how AHAs do, or can, assist their team or business to achieve its strategy.
